Rosanne Richeal

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #143286

Welcome! My name is Rosanne, and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist under the supervision of Jennifer Nava, LMFT. As a marriage and family therapist my goal is to help you navigate the complexities of life experiences and create a plan to move through the pain points that keep you in a state of being stuck. Partnering with the right therapist will help you grow forward. I would be humbled to support you in your journey of growth and healing.

My Background

I have served over thirty-seven years in public safety. I had risen through the law enforcement ranks to serve as both a Sheriff’s Chief Deputy and as the first female Chief of Police for a city in the Sacramento region. Prior to my law enforcement career, I served six years as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). In addition to my public safety career, I am a certified executive leadership coach helping individuals and organizations in leadership development, career advancement, personal growth, and trauma-informed leadership and wellness. I have spoken on these topics at the City Clerks Association of California Conference (CCAC), the International Homicide Investigators Association Conference (IHIA), the Women Leaders in Law Enforcement Conference (WLLE), and the Law Enforcement Executive Leadership Futures & Foresight Summit.

I have spent my lifetime helping others during crisis. In my public safety career, I was exposed to the significant impact trauma has on individuals, families, and communities. It is through my life experiences and serving the public that I have chosen a second career to continue helping others who seek support with mental health challenges that impact their daily lives. I believe with my experience and training in the field of mental health, I have a unique background and skillset to support and help clients move forward in their life.

Services

Individual Counseling

I am here to support and empower individuals to help them enhance their existing strengths and learn new
skills to navigate life challenges and create a positive outcome and mindset. I have seen my clients thrive as they uncover their newfound strengths and apply them to their life experiences. These strengths serve as a positive support platform to increase social, occupational, and personal relationships.

Couples and Family Counseling

I work with couples and families to help them connect and reconnect their relationships during times of conflict. At times, we can feel overwhelmed and stuck in what seems to be endless communication problems, dysfunctional behavioral and emotional patterns, and unrelenting turmoil. As a therapist, I am here to encourage couples and families to work towards developing healthy solutions.

Kiddo Counseling

I work with children and adolescents to support, identify, and develop coping skills to handle stress, fears,
anxiety, depression, social interactions, and self-esteem issues. Play therapy, humor, trauma-informed
care are different modalities I use to support kiddos.
